Default Weight of SFC

Well I searched and didn't find the answer. Does anyone know how much the SLP DD Sub Frame Connectors weigh??

How about the BMR Boxed SFC's ??

I'm looking to trim some weight off the girl and was looking there cause as I remember my SLP's were pretty hefty.

Thanks.

Any DD style is quite heavy. Differences in weight between one manufacture and another will be small, maybe a 1-2 lbs. If your looking to save weight, I wouldn't even consider a DD style.

I'd stick with a boxed or tubular style as BMR carries.

If you are looking to save weight but still have a good product, look at Spohn's Chromoly SFC. They tuck up real well from what I've heard and only weigh 13 lbs!

Yes, I had the Kenny Browns and sold them due to wieght. Things wieght a ton. I think they wieght more than the SLP's.

The numbers sounds pritty close to what I got on the boxed and the tubular BMR's.

13lbs sounds crazy, can anyone back that up. I'd sell my BMR's for 10lbs.

I'm going to get some soon (may be a couple weeks) so if nobody chimes in, I'll weigh them and post it. I thought about getting the SLP's, but if I want that much support, I'll get a roll bar. It's not worth the extra money and weight to me at this point. And I haven't done any weight reduction, I just don't see the point of spending more money for a little more support, when you could spend a little less money for a little less weight. I also considered Global West since they are 2" tubing and would be a compromise of strength/weight, but I just have a hard time thinking the Spohn's wont be good enough to stop flex until the car is ready for a roll bar. Someone tell me if they disagree because I'm ordering soon.
