Default Bleeding Brakes... Strange Noise After Pumping The Brake Pedal

Ok so I was bleeding the brakes on my 2002 trans am, because I just got my calipers back from powdercoating. I never let the master go dry and everything else seems to be ok, I even have a nice hard pedal. I still have not gotten a chance to drive it, because I live in Illinois and there is still snow. But I was just wondering what is the noise the car made everytime I pumped the brakes, if you pump the brakes about 5 to 6 times... about three seconds later your hear a HUM that lasts about a second. It did this eveytime I bleed each caliper and it does it if you just pump the brakes. I was just wondering what this HUM noise is comming from. Thanx Brian

I think that is the sound of the master cylinder sucking more fluid in. I just got finished bleeding my brakes today after accidentally letting the master run dry a couple times.. haha. Anyways, if you have a nice hard pedal, you definately didn't let it run dry.
