Default DMS or MAC springs

I'm trying to decide which to get.

Front Rear
DMS Springs 325-630 95-160 1.30
MAC Fbody 450-515 215-245 1.50"

What do the above rates mean?

This is a street car and not daily driven. Will be taken to the strip this year and I might do a little autoX. But its main use is to drive around on nice days and pick on the local Vettes.
DMS will cost me $180 plus $35(High if you ask me) to ship!
MAC are $160 at the local shop.

I ordered Bilstein HDs.

I have been running DMS springs for 2 years and they are great!! The specs you listed are the spring rates for the front then rear followed by the amount of drop in inches.

The higher the number the stiffer the spring is in pounds per inch meaning that if the spring is 200 lbs/in it takes 200lbs to compress the springs 1 inch. Put 400lbs on the same spring and it would compress 2" and so on......this is with a linear spring.

If there is 2 numbers like DMS (325-630) they are wound in a progressive rate meaning the first 1" takes 325lbs to compress it then the spring gets progressively stiffer where it would take 630lbs to compress 1" at the end of the springs compression travel. Make sense?

My DMS springs lowered my car about 1.3" as stated then dropped to 1.75" after a couple thousand miles and I think the drop is just about right.

Go HERE! for infor on spring rates of many F-Body springs.....

Here is a pic of the settled DMS springs on my car....

Wow, you have no idea how much that helped. The only reason I have been considering the DMS springs is because of how your car looks.
