Default what torque arm is best for me?

i have been hearing alot about a short or long TA discution lately and im wondering which do you think is best for me

i need one that will be best for drag racing
im not lowering my car
no duals at this time
i dont want it to be so loud but my car is loud as it is so

so what would be the best one for me?

For drag racing? Get a short one...the Spohn sounds like it would fit your bill quite nicely for what you want.

The best for drag racing spohn #405.If the car is a daily driver & you take it to the track once and while get there tranny mounted tq arm.

sorry to invade on this post. was looking for torque arm posts and came across this one. Im having a problem with my car hooking. It initially hooks, then about 10-20 feet out it spins. Im on a 26 x 10 et drag. at the track it works perfect...the problem im having is on the street. Engine is mostly stock with long tubes and converter. The suspension was bone stock. I just added qa1 "r" front shocks, lower control arms, relocation brackets, and lowered the car 1". Works a little bit better but still spins. I really didnt want an aftermarket torque arm unless this is the missing link to making it work perfect. let me know what ya think. thanks

I would use a short torque arm something like a bmr extreme or track pack the spohn unit hangs just a little to low for me my.02
