I need advice on what name brand of ceramic pads to purchase for a 2002 Camaro Z28.

I'm pretty partial to Hawk pads myself, but you can get good pads from Hawk, EBC, SBS, Carbotech, and a few others I'm forgetting about. It comes down to personal preference, but you really can't go wrong with any of them.
