Default DeCarbon shocks compared to Bilstein?

I will lower my car with a pro-kit soon. My 'Hawk has the plain stock orange DeCarbon shocks on right now. When I lower the car I will change the shocks regardless. SLP sells the take offs for $50 a set!!! Or, I can buy a set of Bilsteins for $400. Is it really worthwhile to spend all that extra dough?

If your going to put the pro kit on you'll need more than the regular Bilsteins you will need to get some re-valved Bilstein or Koni's to handle those springs and they cost $500 and yes it's worth the $$$. Call Sam Strano and he can set you up. 1-800-729-1831

But even with regular Bilsteins, you will notice a difference. I just put some on my rear last Saturday and I have noticed a big difference in the way it handles around corners and through small potholes.
