stock replacement shocks

stock replacement shocks I guess I know the answer already but I ask anyway: what's a good replacement shock for a V6 ? The car is only a daily driver and not lowered... should I get the Bilstein HDs or are the Monroe shocks ($55 at AdvancedAuto) as good as or better than the original DeCarbons ??
You know people never answer when its about a stock replacement piece 
I did the Bilstein hd front an rear on my TA about this time last year with stock springs ,and I like them, then in the fall I did the Monroe's on my truck and they made such a difference in the way my truck felt and handled that if I was to do the TA again I think that "I might consider the Monroe shocks" if I could not get the Hd's . For a daily driver v6 I think you will be fine , but ,and there is always a but, for the price difference you might want to look at the Hd's if you can swing them or find them, your still gona pay around 75ish for the fronts in the best Monroe's and the Hd's are not much more.The Bilstien Hd are tryed and true on our cars so why mess with it, they ride good handle good and dont realy brake the bank. But this is just MHO

Any shock is going to be better than the stock DeCarbons. They truly suck. Don't put new one on, choose a different brand. Bilstein HD's are nice, but the Monroe's would still be an improvement.
