bmr extreme here never had a problem! but if you are going for more of a street car I would use the adjustable full length maybe even with the torque arm relocation mount to take stress of the tailshaft of transmission my.02

depends on what kind of power you plan on putting down.

i decided on a trans mounted non-adj. BMR unit i got for $169 on sale!
and it works awsome for my set-up...

but if your ride is lowerd, you need an adj. one.
and if your up to 500rwhp, and non, tranny mount is better!

good luck.

I run a Spohn on my car, has good street manners, and works well at the track ( car hooked better than it did with the stock one anyway ). I run the one that mounts on a brace that replaces the factory g load brace. Ground clearance is a little less, but unless you are lowere, it souldnt' be a big deal. I never bottomed it out until I spaced it down to clear a huge 4 inch flowmaster collector
Personally, I'd reccommend a non tranny mounted arm, simply to remove the added wear and tear on the tranny and motor mounts. My .02

Did I see a post somewhere that there was a new tranny crossmember that had a box for a stock length torque arm? That would get it iff of the transmission, but would work with the dual exhaust I plan on getting.

Edit: tried search in Automatic Tranny forum with torque arm mount and got nothing related, tried again with crossmember and this popped up: http://www.converter.cc/drivetrain.htm
Tha is the one I was thinking of. Might need to get one of these with s stock length torque arm when the time comes instead of a chssis mount.
