I heard you can revalve the Bilstein shocks, anyone ever done this to their Bilsteins....

yes rebuild and revalve is about 65 ea + parts which is minimal. 10 day turn around. Need any special changes to valving?

Sam won't do used shocks though. You have to buy them revalved from him.

Because it's actually less money in the end. First, I use different valvings @ all 4 corners, not just the front. So you are in for 4 shocks, not just 2. Then you have two shipping costs (to and from Bilstein) instead of one for new shocks, so that factors in. And then in the end if you bought new Revavles you have a complete set of 4 HD's you can re-sell and recover a few hundred buck on. PLUS the car isn't laid up while the shock are going to and fro and being valved.

Further, I've had some messed up used stuff come in, and it causes a few problems that are a ton of trouble to deal with...........

I think if you sit down and actually figure the NET price after shipping, time and resale value, you find out you come out whole.

I didnt realize that he meant used shocks. I thought he was asking aboiut purchasing revalved shocks.
