ABS INOP what's wrong?

ABS INOP what's wrong? just the other day my service vehicle, brake, and abs inop light came on. i stomped on the brakes and sure enough, no abs.
so, last night i checked both fuses under the hood. they both looked fine so i'm at a loss where the problem came from.
i've got a 12-bolt with abs hook up and it has worked for 100k miles in three different f-bodies. maybe the sending unit went bad? i havn't checked to make sure it is still plugged in yet. i'll do that tonight after work.
or, is there an abs relay i should try to replace?
please help!!! abs has saved me from a wreck more than once!!!

You'll want to get the exact code pulled first before arbitrarily swapping parts.
The usual suspects are:
ABS Relay
ABS Unit/Pump
Wheel sensor or speed sensor
Brake switch
The DTC code will most likely point directly to the troubled part.

What 12-bolt are you running? I have a Strange 12-bolt with 3-channel ABS sensor on top of the housing. One of the wires going into the sensor body broke off causing an ABS INOP light for me.

i'm running a moser 12-bolt with 3-channel ABS sensor. i'm going to check that when i get home after work. i'll also plug in my auto tap and check for the DTC and report back.
one question though, my SES light isn't on, so will it still set a DTC for the other lights (service vehicle, abs inop, and brake light)?
