Why would you think a narrower tire and hence, less grip, would help you?

If you were looking for rodended LCA's, I would look at LG's steel ones. They use good QA1 rod ends and run $200.

If you were wanting poly ends, there are several to choose from.

Here is the link:
http://www.lgmotorsports.com/shop/pr...5bca74f80ce7c6
He has a steel version with
poly/poly,
poly/rod and
rod/rod.
He also has an aluminum version in rod/rod.
You will probably have to call about the steel rod/rod as I don't see a pic on the website.
If you are sensitive to noise or vibration, a regular poly version might be better ( although they are not as good for cornering). I've heard they can fix wheel hop, but I have never had that problem.
Lowered cars also benefit from relocation brackets to get the LCA arms flat again.
Some say shocks can help with wheel hop while others say a torque arm can fix it. I can't really help with your wheel hop problem.

Hey guys, there may be a better alternative to rod/rod LCA bushings. A lot of folks say they are too noisy, why not use a rod-end on one side only to prevent binding and a stiff rubber bushing on the other to soak up the vibrations? I was thinking about welding up something like that using a 1LE bushing and a rod-end. Well I just ran across this thread, check it out:

The problem is that poly bushed LCA's tend to bind under cornering. It's not a noticable problem unless you corner hard. Or so I've been told.

Rod ends may give you somewhat more vibe's but they do work wonders....
