Default Wheel hop

This may be the wrong thread but I just did a head swap and now I have extremely bad wheel hop. I was wondering if it could be the BMR adjustable panhard bar? The control arms are stock.

The panhard has little to no effect on wheel hop. The two main components to help with wheel hop will be lower control arms and a torque arm. More than likely, you are getting alot more power to the tires after the head swap than you did before.

Go with some LCA first, that will most likely solve the problem, if you still have issues then go for the more expensive adjustable torque arm. -Jim

Go for the bolt in brackets, many people go for the cheaper weld in ones, and get there rear end out of wack. so go with the bolt ins so you know everything is true, then if you want extra strenght weld then in too! -Jim

Thats if an inexperienced homo does the job. As long as you follow the instruction or have a competent mechanic do the job for you, you shouldn't have a problem throwing your rear out of wack. Weld in is better

Weld in is better if you indeed have a mechanic (or trustyouself) that knows what he's doing, but just do a search on here and ask some guys oh how many of their mechanic's managed to screw the job up. for the extra $40 you can do the job yourself in your driveway, then if you REALLY feel you need the extra securty, and streigth of welding them in, then you can do so. and another benefit to bolt-in is if you ever need to un-mod your car you can remove the bolt in's and sell then if you wish, where as with the weld in's they are going with the car. -Jim
