Default brake screeching on a 24,xxx mile car

i have installed the wilwood brakes with my moser 12 bolt and factory breaks up front.... it seemed that after i washed my car one day the brakes started to squeek.... what can i do to make it stop

What kind of brake pads do you have? Also which brakes are squeaking, front or rear? Maybe when you washed it come chemicals were left on the pad and caused it to become extremely smooth. This would cause some brake noise. If you have the cheap pads from the auto store, get better pads for 10-15 dollars more. Its worth it. But since you have Wilwood brakes, I would go with something like Hawk pads. LOTS more $$$ but a much better product.
