Brake Question
Newbie Question:
I put on some TTII's (17's) wrapped around some GS-D3's 255/275's. Now I noticed when I apply brakes hard/quickly, I get a bumping feel on the brake pedal. Some say its ABS...I hope my wheels aren't rubbing the brakes. I went to have them Re-Torqued and when I did the guy said they weren't rubbing at all.
Help? Thanks

* Lift the car up and spin the wheel.
* Look for any contact or extremely close tollerances that can become contact with the weight of the car or pressure from braking.
* Look for any damage/scraping from contact
If this condition does not exist then its probably warped rotors.
For comparison, put the old wheels/tires back on and perform the same stops. If you get the same feeling in the brake pedal then it most likely is warped rotors.
Here is some more info on rotors and pads:

(Just dont do what absolut_speed said in that thread, he was joking.)
