Default Suspension sounds like creaking wood

When I make a U-turn, or any sharp turn for that matter, my front end sounds like creaking wood. Any guesses on what it would be? Hopefully I just need some more grease under there? *shurg*

Is this still the same problem you had two years ago? Must not have seen StevieZ's reply https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspension-brakes/81223-creaking-noise-when-turning.html
"Mine was knocking and creaking and squeaking and a grease gun made it all go away!"

Haha. It actually went away for a long time, now it came back. I dont even remember that thread haha

I know its something more than just grease though, because a few months I had to replace my front tires because of the worst case of uneven tread wear EVER. On the outside of the tire, the tread was totally gone, and the metal wires in the tire were starting to become exposed. On the inside of the tire, the tread was fine.

Sure sounds like something's not right, then! When's the last time you had the alignment adjusted?
