strut stuck on spring

strut stuck on spring I dont know if anybody has had this put i pulled off my front spring and strut, cut off the top bolt of the strut cuase it was so rusty. and ways un did the spring compressor and the rubber things on top of the spring did not pop off likes it supposed to. so i have all the springs pressure on the damn rubber thing on the top and it still wont pop off. any tips or am i just going to have to cut the damn strut in half?Help

Never mind bushing got pulled out ended up making a trip to junk yard to pull part off another car. gm made a stupid design with the shock nut, basiclly putting it in a bowl of water to rust
