Traction control
I have also read of a TCS delete cable, and getting the traction control deleted out of the PCM because it will throw an ABS INOP code. I would like to keep cruise control and ABS.

You're car might be a little different with the 96-97 TCS. To turn it off, just press the TCS button. The SLP reverses the module, so when you turn the car on, the TCS is off. When you hit the TCS button, it'll turn it on. I'd get that if you want to retain TCS. I pulled mine off cause I didn't like looking at that box on the valve cover.
On that site it says if you don't have a button you just have ABS...
But my dash lights say TCS OFF etc....

But yes, just like the same reason that there is a connector for the TCS button behind the dash. They use the same harnnes in all of the vehicles, just depends on what all plugs into it.
This is good. The last person that I tried to convince that he didn't have TCS wouldn't belive me.
Thanks-

looks like my problems have already been taken care of!
