Default Abs?

Is it really that important if I am going just to the track with min. street use? I just bought a 12bolt with no ABS.

Nope...it is over-emphased especially on the track via road racing or drag racing...it is pretty useless and provides more trouble then it's worth. Yank it, remove the whole bracket and modulator unit. We have a kit that enables you to remove everything and includes a proportioning valve to correctly bias the front/rear pressures as well as a line lock kit. If you already have a line lock kit, we offer it in a configuration that allows you to use SLP's solenoid also.

Because it's pretty much worth nothing on the track, and as such any trouble involved is more than nothing, and hence more than it's worth.

It's "ice mode" can be real pain.

Real heavy braking can lift the rear and play havoc with the ABS causing the rear to shudder violently.
This last part I've only heard about, the "ice mode" I know first hand.
