front end squeeks

front end squeeks When I drive my car in like a parking lot or from a stop the front end will squeek pretty bad. And even if I push on the fron end of the car it will squeek. Its kind of embarissing and Im wondering what I need to get to remedy this problem. I figured as much that its the shocks. So Im looking for a complete kit. I saw the Hal Shocks Adjustable Shocks on ls1speed.com heres the link http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm...%20/%20Chassis and Im wondering, is this everything that I should get? Will that kit allow me to raise and lower my car? does it come with springs and all the other good stuff? or am i not even looking at the right stuff. please help me lol
I'm not sure why you would think it was the shocks. First thing I would check is the front sway bar bushings. Loosening the center 2 and lubing them with white lithium grease or wheel bearing grease will do the job. Don't grease the endlinks. If that is not the problem, it might be the A-arm bushings. You can spray some white lithium grease or some silicon lube on the bushings.
One thing to try is to get a friend to bounce the car while you crawl under the front and listen to where the sound is coming from. It can be hard to find the source of these things.
