The calipers are stronger, they are pressure cast and more resistant to spreading from heat and pressure loads (than the F-body version).

Now, if you are asking about the differences between the C5 "kit" and stock brakes. That's a whole different animal.

The C5 rotor is larger and directionally vented. It's designed for better cooling and will handle more heat energy. The Pad Abutment Bracket (PAB) for the Corvette has larger/stronger hardware to bolt it in place and is designed for more severe useage. There are more choices of pad compound for the C5 kits (with regard to track pads) and they are often less expensive than the F-body version of the same pad. Rotors are "cheap" (GM rotors, that have been track tested by many F-body owners can be ordered for about $18 each plus freight). It's a very good upgrade for serious use. If you need "more" than what the C5 kit will give you, you need to talk to Steve about a Porsche kit or something similar.

Sorry to drag this up, but from what I read, Corvette Rotors will fit with no modification onto an Fbody with the stock Fbody caliper?

Nope. The rotor is larger and you'll need to relocate the caliper to clear the larger diameter rotor.

Default How bout this?

I get the idea the C5 front calipers will bolt up to the F body brackets. Will they fit under a 16" rim? I'm reading the pistons are smaller on the C5 calipers than the F body, right?
