Most likely. Is it tailshaft mounted?

Let me expand on my previous post. 1982-2002 V8 F-Body('82-'84 requires purchase of '85 or newer torque arm "clamshell" mount).

Brian if it is the Spohn out of Alan's, it will work. BUT the crossmember is different in an LT1 then an LS1. It will hang low.

Would a 93-97 V6 Torque Arm fit a 99 LS1?

I bought this extra one used and it looks identical, I just wasn't thinking about it being from a V6.
W shaped end also points the same direction.

If it fits, would it be any weaker?
I plan to brace it some, anyway but I don't want to waste my time. Thanks.

Your probably in the same boat. I am pretty sure the torque arm is the same, its the cross member that is different. It will just hang lower.

I believe I'm in the clear, I held the V6 one up next to mine while on a lift and everything looks identical.

One quick question, do those threaded nuts welded on in the center actually have a purpose? Maybe for some kind of factory driveshaft safety loop? I've never seen them used before and if they are useless, I'd like to cut them off. Anyone know?
