Default Drag strip suspension mods

After taking my car to the track I've noticed and been told of a few things I need to fix on my car. This is my daily driver but sees the track a few times.

I have no after market suspension mods yet.

First thing is that I get some tire hop off the line and the shift from 1st to 2nd. What should I get to stop that?

2nd: My friend and father have both told me the rear axle seems to be wanting to rollunder my car...If you get what I mean. I know drag cars use slapper bars to stop this but I would rather not put those on my daily driver

3rd: I get some twisting and my driver side lights up on the burn out and the passenger side doesnt really...I guess I need some Sub-fram connectors.

Thanks!!!

Get weld-in subframe connectors, rear lower control arms, and a torque arm.

Are the bolt on subfram connectors worth it or should I Def go with weld in?

They aren't worth it. Over time, vibration will make the bolts come loose and widen the bolt holes which defeats the purpose of SFC's. Get the weld-ins.

Lower control arm brackets are a cheap and effective too. I did lca's and brackets at the same time and noticed the car planting the tires a lot better from a dead stop.

We dont use slapper bars on the 4th gens. Those are for leafspring setups.

A good set of LCAs, (rodend are better IMO, but noisey as hell - I have poly)
Subframe connectors - weld in
LCA brackets - if thecar is lowered, they can help without it, but it may cause the car to bog excessivly if you arent putting down some power.

Sounds like your rearend is giving up on you if one tire is only spinning...

Are you using drag radials, slicks or something?

Im using stock tires, What I heard about my driver side smoking for then my passenger side is that the car is twisting and putting more force on the drivers side and not passenger. I guess thats where Sub frame connectors come in.

If the passenger side doesnt have as much force, it should still be spinning..
It shouldn't be twisting too much during your burn out, but then again, you dont need a burnout on street tires.

a quick couple seconds is all you need. Just clean the treads off, pull up and stage, never ever touch the water box with street tires.

It is spinning, it just doesnt light up as much, but still lights up.

When I say burn out I really jsut mean a quick hole shot, make some smoke but not much.
