so i tried a search already.

i want to put new bushings in the front control arms but i dont know which
ones to get. poly or the stock rubber

in the couple of months i want to lower the car

question is which bushings will 1. last longer

Polyurethane bushings are by far better than the traditional rubber. You can never go wrong with them.

I have poly busings on the upper control arms, and they squeak like he11. Poly bushings in the caster position on the front lower control arms are known for having a short life span. I sugest you go with a quality oem replacement, like Moog.

Poly bushings will perform better if you are building a road racing car. Steel rod ends will perform best in that situation, though, but that requires new control arms. Moog black rubber will outlast them all.

Most autoparts stores should be able to get them, although they will probably need to order them. No shipping charges though, usually.
