Default Subframe connector issue...

I recently purchased and had a guy weld on Spohn tubular subframe connectors. They are the type that allows no ground clearance when welded on correctly........my issue is they were NOT welded on correctly. They right one was welded on the left side and vice versa, resulting in the tube facing downwards instead of up and tucked away. I am not concerned about ground clearance, as my exhaust is lower than the incorrectly welded subframes. My question is, even though they are welded incorrectly according to manufacturers specs; are they still effective? The welds on each end are excellent as he was an experienced welder, just not familiar with this type of subframe (he thought he had it correct). I would like some feedback on what everyone thinks before I start the rigorous and meticulous process of cutting them off and getting them re-welded on correctly. Any input is greatly appreciated.
