Default Disconnect battery before welding in SFC's?

I'm going to weld in my SFC's tomorrow and was wondering if I should disconnect the battery before welding. Thanks.

anytime you are doing welding work on the car, you should disconnect the battery.

Make sure you have the weight of the car resting on it's tires before welding in the subframe connectors. You don't want to jack up one side of the car at a time and weld the sfc's in, as the chassis may remain tweaked. Bob

10-4 there Bob. I used 2 sets of rhino ramps to evenly load the suspension, it worked pretty good, but it's a tight fit under there with a welding helmit on and trying to move around to get into a good position to weld, but it worked and the car feels great!!! Thanks guys
