It's a little bit of a pain but not too bad. I suggest you get a TA that uses the stock mounting location, though.

I think it would be a snap. Mine was'nt but it was for a 12 bolt and I put it on a 9". It was a ******* pain in the ***. I had to hack some **** to make it work.
I like the chassis mount one due to taking the stress off the drive line and putting it on the chassis. You should have no problems!

Not difficult, just time consuming. Especially when you switch to poly bushing and you go to tighten the bolts with the poly bushing installed. But nothing special, you can do the install yourself as I did.

It took me about 3 hours to do the TA and the PHR (I did both at the same time). That was in my garage, with no lift and basic tools. And yes a lot of WD40. Get the grade 8 bolts also. Get it done right the first time and forget it.

If you're getting one that mounts up at the tunnel brace then all you have to do is loosen the bolts at the transmission and the rear end and pull it off. I think I had to jack up the driver's side of the rear a little to get the TA off. Then just bolt the new one up to the rear and the 4 bolts for the tunnel brace and you're good.
