Have they helped with traction any by making the chassis stiffer?

IMO the stickers should come in an envelope. But I'm just a consumer what the hell do I know.

alot of people said that due to our front suspension arrangement, strut tower braces are mor cosmetic than anything else, i was just reading it in a thread, but i forgot which one.

Well, the front are shocks, not struts, so a stock tower brace is not nearly as important as a strut tower brace.

Personally, I put a shock tower brace on my car first, but wish i did the subframes a long time ago.

fill me in on the difference between a "shock tower brace" and a "strut tower brace".

i was under the impression that (besides designation) they were essentially the same thing.

I installed my UMI Tubular SFC about a week ago and the fitment was perfect. And you pretty much have to be on all fours with your head underneath the car to see them...

Yes.

I'm running UMI SFCs with a Hotchkis Strut Tower brace, and the car feels 34903828907 times better than stock.

whatever people say...i felt a difference when i installed my UMI STB...turn in is quicker and the front end is more responsive. i've heard the SFC's would benefit me much more though. so both serve their purpose. i'm not sure how much i would have noticed the STB if i already had the SFC's. anyone install SFC's then a STB? could you still notice a difference?

Hello,

Our number is 814-857-5400 if you would like to call. But I just checked and the site seems to be working fine. Hope that helps!

I second that, though I have slp stb.

I too would like to know the difference after an stb then the added sfc.

I know when I did each mod at differnt times I felt a good differnce for each one.

Any truth to the rumor that boxed SFC's decrease ground clearance, and are not recommended for lowered cars? I'm using a Prokit, and my y-pipe scrapes as it is. What would you recommend?
