Two questions need help please How do you tell if a wheel bearing has gone bad and how is it fixed (somehting I can fix myself?) I have what sounds like rear end noise but I know what that sounds like and this sounds isolated to the right rear wheel. The "whir, whir" sound picks up with speed and is constant. The sound really begins at about 50 and up.
Second question is how can you tell if a shock is bad? My right rear makes a bump/squshy sound going over a bump/unlevel roads. When I push down on the rear I can hear a creeking sound from the right rear side of the suspension.
