Default Torque arm construction is underway

I got the floor-pan mount made today..... basically it's a 3/8" flat piece of steel 6" wide and 22 7/8" long ran over my SLP subframe connectors. not too exciting but it fits and works. we had to re-hang my x-pipe to normal height so it isn't as tucked under the car as it was. Here's some pics what do you guys think?

Plate bolted to the floorpan. I used the angle iron as a brace on the top of the plate so that the force of launhing won't bow the plate.

Plate bolted to the frame

Cross plate over the exhaust (notice very little clearence between the exhaust and the stock TA)

Exhaust Clearence from the side

Exhaust Clearence from the back

Looks good. I made a tunnel brace very similar to that out of 1/4" steel plate and 3/4" angle steel. except mine drops a little lower so the exhaust can go over the top of it.

I was going to weld up my own TA also, but I whimped out and bought one when I found out how cheap the ADDCO TA is from Sam Strano. I still might make my own out of chromoly someday to try and drop a little weight.
