Default Rebuilding Bistiens

I got a set of used Bilstiens from a guy who upgraded to a Koni setup. Only problem is one of the front shocks the threaded parts is pretty screwed up the bolt was frozen and he had to heat it up and chisel it off.

It will thread and hold a bolt but it is the wifes car and I'm a little worried about safety if that comes loose. Although its been awhile since I've looked at the front suspension I don't know if there is a load on that nut...

Anyways I know Bilstiens are rebuildable where do you guys get yours done at? So I can get the main shaft replaced.

If it requires a shaft replacement, you'll need to send it to Bilstein.

Contact Shane, 800-537-1085, Bilstein America (West), Poway California for the how to do...
