I just a did a 60-0 test in front of my house. I did it twice and hit the brakes when I got to my mailbox. The first distance was 93 ft. and the second was 98. My car is a 98 ta. Isn't it stopping a little quicker than its supposed to be?

A couple questions:
Are you sure your speedo is accurate and you are truly going 60 mph?
Are you breaking early, i.e. in anticipation of the mailbox?
Anything near 100 ft is great. Most performance cars are 110ft - 115 ft. I know some guys who have the vette rotors and agressive pads are getting 100-105 ft.
Anyways, congrats.

Given how short mine stops with the setup I have, I can't believe less than 100ft. Mine's close to 100ft and there's no way a stock LS1 is doing that. The best I've seen stock is around 125ft.
Just for reference, when mine clamped down once, my g/f's lightweight headset and ballcap ended up on the dashboard. That's serious negative g's.

I pulled a 100ft stop in my car but I'm running slightly larger rotors, HP Plus pads and I'm running 315 DOT race radials front and back. I recorded this at the Year One Experience last year and it was recorded with a radar gun and a computer software that recorded when I got up to 60mph then it recorded my 60-0 once I got to 60mph. In other words, it was not a contest to see who was the best at braking at exactly 60mph. My other two stops were marginally worse {something like 102 and 103 feet}. I won the 0-60-0 event over a modded Evo and a modded Viper.
The parking area we were using was not the best and the tires were cold so I might could have done a bit better. If you are stock and not running some sort of DOT race radial, I honestly think that there is something wrong with your data collection.

That said, I'm still kicking the idea of an ABS delete around for RR/AutoX purposes.
