Default Pondering suspension upgrades

I was considering upgrading my suspension, which is currently bone stock with some rather well-worn factory DeCarbon shocks. I'm primarily interested in improving the handling and stability of the car, but I occasionally drag race and would like not to hurt the lauch characteristics too much. After talking to Mr. Strano for about 45 minutes, I figured my current budget would allow me either to purchase revalved Bilsteins and swaybars or just Koni SA's. I was planning on retaining the stock springs for now. If anybody with a set of revalves biased toward cornering has any results from drag racing to report, that would be immensely helpful. I would be using either a Nitto or M/T drag radial tire at the track. Thanks!

P.S. Mr. Strano's service and expertise are second to none!

Well, I would say go with the Koni SAs, and then save up a little more and go for Strano's 35 mm front swaybar. With the Konis, you can go soft at the race track and stiffen things up for street driving. Also, I don't know if you want to lower the car at all (which would improve handling but hurt your launch) but if you do, you can use the lower mounting position in the front and replace the rear isolators in the back with heater hose and get the car lowered. This isn't an option with the Bilsteins.

Thanks for the advice. I did decide to get the Koni's now. I think I'll upgrade the swaybars later.

swaybars are a really good upgrade to make though, they make a really big difference
