Default question about stock torque arms

just wanted to know if the torque arm on an auto and a manual are the same...my torque arm recently got messed up and i need to get it back on the road ASAP since this is my only car and my friend is going to give me his stock torque arm but he said he believes there is a difference between the auto and manual torque arms...when i looked on gmpartsdirect.com they also had different part numbers but i dont see why they would be different..so does anyone know??

so basically what he is saying is, buy a bmr torque arm. lol. i have the adjustable bmr torque arm and it works great. however i do not recommend bmrs panhard seeing how mine snapped on my launch at the track. other than their panhard rod, i like all their other stuff.
