Default Broken Bolt

Took my shock/spring setup off to tighten some stuff up and I broke the 13mm bolt that is located on the passenger side.

I tried NAPA and Home Depot and neither had it, gonna try the dealership next, hopefully they don't give me an attitude.

But would it be safe to drive around with the 2 15mm bolts in place and 1 of the 13mm bolts in while the 4th is empty?

Thanks

No, I wouldn't drive it with the bolt missing. You can probably find one at your local hardware store. If not, look in the yellow pages under "fasteners". Any reasonably large town is going to have at least one. Most of their business is contractors, so you don't usually see them in consumer retail areas - they're usually tucked somewhere out of sight . They usually have a good selection of hard-to-find bolts and tools. Be sure to get one of the same property grade as marked on the bolt heads (8.8, etc, don't remember what's used for the upper mount).

Like sgarnett said, don't drive it. Take the other 13mm bolt to local hardware stores so they can match the thread count, and get the same grade. Having that other bolt in your hand while you look for a replacement will help out a lot, and those local fastener stores have everything.

I think you had the same original problem I did, noise after you lowered it?
Good luck.
