Default T/A and SFC help...

What brand and model of torque arm and subframe connectors would be good for a 01 T/A with pacesetter longtubes, true duals, and a moser 12 bolt??

UMI is a sponsor on here and they have really good products. Haven't had an dealings with them, but soon as i get the money i plan on ordering their boxed SFC and LCA with LCA Relocation Brackets. Check them out ------>

UmMI has a great product i got my PHB and LCAs from them and im totally pleased. I just ordered my SFCs today and im sure they'll be a quality product like the other items I ordered from them.

I'm trying to find info on torque arms and true duals, and at the moment, it looks like only tailshaft-mounted TAs will work with a true dual setup. I'm waiting to hear back from UMI on whether they have any experience getting one of their tunnel-mounted torque arms to work with a set of true duals.

If you just want the TA off the tailhousing you can get
a relocating crossmember. But I put one on and took it
back off shortly, it was just too harsh for a setup that
isn't likely to break stuff. The only other benefit of the
tunnel mounted arms is their shorter length giving a more
extreme reaction. For a street car though a long arm is
probably better, you don't want mad bite at the expense
of mad brake hop etc. The relocating crossmember I have
(a used Yank piece of the older style) has one other
benefit - you can index the mount position to actually
change instant center. This is independent of the pinion
angle (set out back and relating little to the IC).

I don't know as I'd trust that the Moser 12bolt is that
close to stock geometry, that you could go nonadjustable.
Probably best to keep your options open. And be sure you
use the longest possible bolts that just barely don't bottom
in the hole, and Loctite 'em good....
