Default Which subframe connectors do you have?

I want some opinions on what subframe connectors that you have and if you like them or recommend getting a different brand. I have heard good things about bmr and UMI so I was wondering which ones yall prefer. And they are going to be weld in. Thanks alot for the help and if you have any other brand that you recommend then put that in theyre too.

I like the SLP's but im starting to become a weight freak so im looking to get em cut off when the car goes in for the cage. Other than that theyre pretty good, you can also do the 3 point UMI. They tie the same points together but should be a bit lighter.

SLP weld ins..how much weight can you save???...tieing it all together is what's important..you might save 3, 4 or 5 lbs at the most..100 lbs. = one tenth of a second in the quarter mile..unless you have a real race car what difference would it make..just my $0.02..

I have the BMR boxed 2-point weld-in's. I can't say anything bad about them. Good price too.

Longitudinal stiffness of the subframes is also very important in a vehicle's overall torsional stiffness. The popular 2-pt boxed 2x2x.120 SFC's are stiffer than the 1-5/8" 2pt or 3 pt SFC's. SLP's are the stiffest by far with a 2x3" rectangular tubing on the main rails. The braces in the middle do little for stiffness, especially when they connect to the stock tunnel brace.

A big problem with the round, tubular UMI SFC's can be seen there. The plat that gets welded between the unibody and tube doesn't connect to the entire tube end. This flat flate in bending isn't a good thing for stiffness.

SLP bolt ons, welded in. As far as subs go, they are tops, but as has been pounded to death on here, I agree now that they are unnecessary anchors, especially on a hardtop like mine. If I had to do it over again, I'd go without these and save the 40-45#. This despite that they have saved me a few times on speedbumps/driveways/curbs with a lowered car, and save time/effort when doing wheel changes.
