mine are coilovers with qa1 springs. so the bottom part sits on the adjuster nut of the strut.

i cut the dust cover off then seperated the rubber bumb stop from the metal part then put the rubber part on the strut. then i sliped the metal part between the coils then put it back together in the spring. i figure i should have the bump stop right?
