Default Upgraded suspension. Is this normal?

OK, so I've installed my 9" rear with all upgraded suspension. The only thing left is the HALs and new springs. So as of right now I'm still on stock springs with everyone's favorite shock...The DeCarbons.

Anyway here's what I've got.

- UMI Adjustable PHR poly/rod end combo
- UMI Lower Control Arms poly/rod end combo
- Spohn body mount Torque Arm with poly bushing. I've got the true pinion angle set to -1*.

When driving at highway speed, it's somewhat noticable at about 60 mph but really comes in at 70+ mph. I get a drone, kind of like a vibration. There's a little bit of vibration, but it's more noise than anything. Also, every so often when I hit a bump I get a knock sound. My tunnel/floorpan have been clearanced for the torque arm so I know it's not that.

I know that with the poly/rod end components and the body mount T/A I'll have more noise than stock. I just want to make sure everything I'm hearing is normal.

TIA
-Jason

Did you just get your rearend? If so couldn't it be that...as far as the drone goes.

Yup the rear is brand new. It's been in for a few weeks and about 600 miles or so on it.

The sound is either your gears, performance aftermarkets will always make some noise, or your rear u-joint. FWIW, I still get the same thing and am still trying to make the vibration go away (9 inch and Spohn body mount TA).

The knock is likely the TA and is normal. It can only move so far before it runs out of room on the front end.

When I first got mine together (without any clearancing) it sounded like the whole rear was coming out of the car when I'd hit a bump. Took a while but it self adjusted.

Yeah, I do have some gear noise. If I could just cut the vibrations down a little bit I'd be golden. Thanks for the reply. FWIW it does seem to be getting better the more miles I put on it.
