Trackbrackets or UMI brackets will do it if you have everything else

By the information in earlier posts, it looks as if there wouldn't be a kit as of the moment, since the brackets are aftermarket and the factory parts require a valid C6 Z06 VIN# to source, but that's just my assumption.

The interesting thing about the C6 ZO6 stuff is that all the track guys are pulling them off the Z cars and going with big standard calipers instead of the individual pad setups.

Probably because they are bigger, brake better then our stock parts, and people can probably pick them up cheap.

the package is 1616 from fred beans plus shipping. But you need the c5 adaptor brackets which run about 250 from umi or trackbird to run that setup and of course bigger wheels.

Watch some of those ebay brackets. There is some real junk out there and some of them are dangerous. It's only the brakes, nothing important.

Be safe.

Sorry to beat a dead horse here but i think I may have missed somthing. So far with the bracket kit you can fit c6 z06 "front" brakes on a 4th gen f-body, give you have the wheels to clear the larger calibers. What about the rear, is there a kit for the that?

There is no kit for the rear. Wassko had a local shop fab something up for his car. I don't have the details of that however.

Although I am sure they will look friggin sweet, I wouldn't reccomend these brakes. I originally considered upgrading to them as well, but after somone else pointed me in the direction of some discussion of them in a Corvette Forum, I learned that they are pretty much junk. At least thats what the general synopsis of them was in the other forum.

I'll try to get the link so you have more info other than just me.
