Eibach springs height

Eibach springs height I just recently got Eibach prokit rear springs I purchased from a forum member. They're about 4" shorter than the stock springs (off the car), maybe more. These are supposed to have never been used. Is this how they're supposed to be? The stock ones are thinner wire, so maybe they compress a lot more when loaded?
