New wheel beerings every 20k
This is for my truck a 1993 dakota. Every 20k or so the front wheel beerings explood. Then the race(sp?) welds on to the spindel if I don't catch it soon enough. I really don't have a good understand of general automotive stuff I did a cam swap before a pad swap. What could be causing this?
I don't overload it with weight or drive it hard, its just a dakota.

Wow, thats pretty weird... Not sure about the Dakota design, but are you packing these bearings with grease fully? (so that it comes out the other side) Thats all that I can think of...

larger wheels (20"+) cause premature wheel bearing failures.
If you're running stock wheels or close size, they might just not packed with grease right.
Do dakota's have spindles or concealed bearings in the hubs?
