what exactly do LCA's do? what do the lower control arms do?
and how do they work?
and what about subframe connectors?

you can do LCA in a matter of mins. Most time consuming part was jacking the car up. The LCA's in conjunction with the PHR basicly locate the rear end under the car front to back and side to side.

LCA's locate the rear end forward and back. A PHB locates the rear end side to side.
As far as which one's to purchase first you have to decide on end type, do a search on end types because there is a variety of combinations of rod, poly and rubber ends. Each has it pro's and con's. Then check out the sponsors and the GP section. I went with poly/rubber LCA's because I wanted minimal noise. Both LCA's and PHB are very easy to install.
SFC's "complete" the lack of a full frame on a uni-body car (f-bodies). They keep the body from twisting under torque. Again you have a few options (lubular, boxed...weld-in, bolt-in). I've got a custom set of boxed welded in.
