lowering sprins and 60' times
i've heard somewhere that if you lower your car, the 60' times along with your traction will suffer greatly. im assuming this is true because lowering springs are stiff which means bad weight transfer....now i was thinking maybe i could lower the car with some h & r springs(approx 1.5 inch drop) but put some competition engineering 3 way adjustable drag shocks in the back to compensate for the stiffness of the springs. im completely ignorant towars suspension so if this is the stupidest idea ever please enlighten me, thanks. p.s. ill be using nitto 275 dr's out back so those should help some.

with crappy sportlines I pulled 1.7 60ft once or twice... I average low 1.8s with Nittos. I am wondering what I will do once I get the Prokit and the Konis put in (I rarely go to the track and didnt feel it was best to put in QA1s). my dd

Alot depends on your overal set up. I've been cutting mid 1.40s no problem with Hypercoil springs. Used to cut 1.60s with Nittos. The rest of my set up is alittle more geared twards drag racing though.
