Default shock dilemma

I'm in need of new shocks and am looking for a decent set to replace the factory set-up. I want something that will handle better but I'm not going racing so I don't need top of the line. I'm thinking the KYB GR-2's or AGX? I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

I've always heard that it almost not worth it to buy a cheaper set of shocks, you need to spend a little money on a decent shock setup in order to get good results. If you dont wanna spend alot on shocks, go with the bilstein hd's, and if you ever plan on lowering the car go with the revalved bilstein's from sam strano. Talk to Sam Strano about shocks, he will point you in the right direction and hook you up with exactly what you need. I'm sure some other people will chime in on here as well.

Shocks are the single biggest handing improvement you can make. Do it right the first time I'd go with Koni SAs, or at least the Strano/Bilstein revalves.

I'd recommend the same ones.

Thanks guys. I don't want to get cheap replacements, but I don't want to spend a ton of money either.

Just go with the Koni SA. About $200.00 a piece with a lifetime warranty.

From what little info I see, I think a good old set of regular Bilstein's would be just the ticket..... Of course I won't marry myself to that recommendation until/unless you call me so we can discuss some things, but it's my tendency based on the explanation given here.
