Question C5 Brake upgrade???

I was wanting to know if I was to do the c5 brake upgrade would it fit under my 17x9.5 torgue thrust II's. I am goin to do somethin pretty quick. Also wut all will I need to do this install. I want to use the bigger rotors is the reason why I want to go with this setup.

i am also curious about this...

I believe that Fbody calipers will work just as well as C5 calipers.

I know that we will need to buy C5 rotors, and the C5 caliper brackets.

Brake pads.


I think that may be it, but i also may be wrong. hopefully people will correct me.


Also for anyone out there that has done it what have you noticed?

Yes the corvette rotor will fit inside the 17" wheel. You should clear the caliper as well. But it never hurts to double check. You should be fine though.

I have a set of C6 ZO6 calipers/rotors and need 18" wheels to fit them, but have not had much luck verifying room behind the wheel spokes to clear the caliper (these things are monsters!). I will keep hunting. Good luck with your upgrade.

I had a customer claim the C5 kit did not fit under is Torque Thrust II's. I didn't see this first hand but I was told.
