Default Lowering kits

I was wondering what all is involved in lowering my car. Also what would be a good kit to purchase as well what would be a good lowering amount? Would just springs be good or would i need something else?

you need to do shocks with lowering springs as well as an adjustable panhard. Check out the sticky below to see the ride height of several spring manufacturers. When you decide what spring you want than you can choose on a shock such as bilstein revalves, koni adjustable etc.
