Default stock springs with qa1's???

If I took and cut the spring perch off the stock front shocks and opened the hole up a little could I just put that on my qa1's and run my stock springs? The drag springs are too bouncy for me and I thought this idea might work.

That's what I have up front. Works pretty well for me. I dont Auto-X, I just like having stock ride properties with about ~1in drop

Drag springs are about the same rate as stock. If it is to bouncy u need better shocks. Drag shock must to low a rate to control ur springs. Get better shocks.

I have $700 QA1 shocks. The only set I know that is better are the afcos and I'll pass on them do to the price.
