QA1 settings?
For me, taking notes of the cars reaction on each individual setting is a good way to keep track of things. I also note the road condition, time of day, weather, ect.

I also have the single adjustable QA1s with stock springs on my 2000 Z28 and have the fronts on 7 and the rears on 4. The front also sits about 1.25" below the stock ride height. Hope that helps you get a good idea about where you might want to start.

I am going to try that combination of settings, too. Thanks.

Is that a daily driver setting???
How does it ride out on the street?

If you get them, your car will certainly "feel" different. I am running the same setup that you want. I am willing to tolerate more though, since my wife does not drive the '99 and barely drives the '92. When she does drive the '92 she has a tendancy to get happy with the loud peddle.

You can feel the difference when the settings are real stiff, the car will feel like a rock. With the settings set on street friendly, you have a nice firm ride. The suspension makes you feel like you actually are controlling the car, you can feel every part of the road. It is a great setup and anyone would like it.
