Sway Bar Help
is that because of the harmonie balancer on the front of the engine?? Or is it length etc? Will getting a 24mm rear sway bar (with a 32mm front) improve handling on the street or make it worse?
I don't know specifically what is different between the front bars, but sinced the 3rd gens have strut front suspensions and 4th gens have double A arms, the ends are probably significantly different.
I run a 24 mm rear bar but my phb is lowered 3 inches. On a car with a stock height phb it would be a pretty stiff bar and hurt your ability to power out of corners. The only way you might like it is if you balance it with a very stiff front bar (like a Suspension Techniques 35 solid or Hotchkis 36.5 hollow) and lots of tire. It won't affect wheel hop.
