Default just painted my calipers

i've seen that many paint only the caliper. i painted the whole thing though, including the brake pads and the area around it-- not the rotor though. i see that you aren't suppose to paint the pads though... what is the worst i could expect from this besides fading?

as long as you just painted the backing plate of the pad and not the pad itself (the part the touches the rotor) you should be fine. some mechanics paint new pads before they go on so they dont rattle inside the bracket.

Why would you paint the back of the pads?

Waste of time making the pads a nice black instead of the DULL GREY/BLACKISH color that fades ??? WHY the hell not paint them.??? This whole thing is to make them look better..go out and look at your pads..1,000 bucks says mine look better painted a nice black.

Because attention to detail is what sets a nice car apart from the rest...I get compliments on my ride all the time from people with more expensive cars than mine. It's all about perception...
